About the Workshop
Atlantic Exchanges is a scholarly workshop series designed to foster sustained dialogue among historians working on the Atlantic World, with a particular emphasis on interregional connections linking the Americas, Africa, and Europe. The workshop brings together scholars from different institutions and countries, and at different stages of their academic careers.

2027 Workshop
We are now accepting proposals for the 2027 Workshop, “Slavery and the Commercial Machinery of Empires” (March 11-13, 2027). Proposals are due October 31, 2026.
